At FLORA,
we use local flowers from farms in Central Virginia, including our own regenerative urban farm in Charlottesville. We grow flowers on unused city lots to delight our neighbors, our customers, and local pollinators.
Local flowers are fresher, healthier, and more beautiful than their cellophane-wrapped counterparts. There are so many unique, gorgeous blooms that don't ship well which is why you rarely see them in big box stores or conventional florists. Our gift bouquets feature 100% local flowers, and our event floral designs use as many local flowers as possible.
